Jim Butler and Ramsey Prather are pleased to announce the addition of a new partner at Butler Prather LLP, Archie Grubb of Columbus, Georgia. Archie is an outstanding personal injury attorney with demonstrated skill and success. Archie is an esteemed speaker on legal topics and a true asset to the local community.

Mr. Grubb’s Notable Legal Victories

During his legal career, Archie has represented whistleblowers in various settings, including the pharmaceutical industry, hospital and medical practice, for-profit education, the defense industry, and hospice and home health care. He has also won notable settlements against major automobile manufacturers and insurance carriers.

As lead or co-counsel, Archie has won multiple six- and seven-figure settlements in several different practice areas, including:

Mr. Grubb’s Contributions to the Legal Community

Archie completed both his BA and JD at the University of Alabama. As an undergraduate, he was an honors student with a double major in history and political science.

Archie is a valued public speaker who has delivered CLE presentations on various aspects of consumer class action litigation in Atlanta, New Orleans, Miami, San Juan, Puerto Rico, Troy State University, and Samford University Cumberland School of Law. On several occasions, Archie has presented at the Beasley Allen Legal Strategies Conference in Montgomery, Alabama. This is the largest conference of its kind for Alabama attorneys in private practice, regularly drawing more than 1,000 attendees.

Archie belongs to the American Association for Justice Class Action Litigation Group and the Taxpayers Against Fraud Education Fund, an organization dedicated to supporting whistleblowers.

A True Asset to the Community

Archie embodies the type of values we wish to promote at Butler Prather LLP, and his actions demonstrate a strong commitment to helping others. Archie served as Vice President of the Board of Directors at Brantwood Children’s Home. He is also co-founder of the Unity Group, a partnership between predominantly black and white Methodist churches in Montgomery.

In regard to his community involvement, Archie was recognized by the Montgomery County Bar Association in 2012 and 2013 for his pro bono work through the Alabama State Bar Volunteer Lawyers Program.

Mr. Grubb lives in Columbus, Georgia, with his wife, Mary Lynn (the daughter of long-time Columbus lawyer Houser Pugh), and their three children. He is deeply dedicated to the welfare of his family, his clients, and the local community.
